During a photo shoot this past weekend in Long Island, I had the opportunity to get away from the set and take some photographs in and around the house where we were located (photos from the main shoot will come later this week) . The house was built in the 1930’s (I believe) and had been recently vacated, with some of the furniture and private belongings left behind. It was strange to see what had been left. It was as though the owners wanted to keep a “presence” in the house. I wouldn’t say I believe in ghosts, but I certainly didn’t want to be in the house when it was dark. It was a very eerie place. Here are some of the photos:

I enjoyed your images and the fact you were able to walk through the house. I love going through abandoned houses because it is always so interesting what people decide to leave and take.
Thanks!
It was a very cool experience – one which I don’t often have the opportunity to do.
Beautiful Images in an old and nearly empty house!
Thanks Kimberly!
Hope you are doing well
