Needless to say we’ve been quite busy this summer – client shoots/travel, some vacation and of course photographing redheads. We hit the 100 milestone last week. Quite an accomplishment considering we didn’t know any redheads when we started this project 18 months ago. Below is the collage of all 101.

I get the chance, every so often, to photograph celebrities, but rarely in their backyards. Late last month I had another photo shoot for TeachersCount, this time with actors Maggie Gyllenhaal and Austin Pendleton. With no room for a 9-ft white background, our only option was to incorporate the garden. It’s slightly different from the usual white seamless in past TeachersCount shoots, but I like the feel. Here are some outtakes. The poster is due out in September.
