QSpex in NYC
I recently had the pleasure of working with Atlanta advertising agency Aumcore on a QSpex billboard and transit ad campaign. One day of scouting, three days shooting and a lot of walking. It was a great way to see the city. Many thanks to Antonio Casas (creative director) and Bidisha Mishra (producer) for a wonderful shoot.
The Redhead Launch Party
We’re having a party to promote The Redhead Project!
I’ll be showing series of studio and environmental portraits of redheads composed with an eye toward generating new advertising and editorial clients, as well as a teaser of another personal project – time-lapse movies of NYC.
Art & Copy
If you love good advertising then you really need to see “Art & Copy”, one of the many films from Independent Lens, an Emmy Award-winning series which airs weekly on PBS. Art & Copy is a film which reveals the insight and wisdom of some of the most influential advertising creatives of our time – pioneers like George Lois, Mary Wells, Dan Wieden, Lee Clow and Hal Riney (to name a few). I’m sure many of you have never heard their names, but if you’ve heard “I Want My MTV”, “Where’s The Beef”, “Just Do It”, “Got Milk” and “Think Different” then you’ve heard and seen what they do.
If you like “Mad Men”, you’ll love this film!!
