The 45 Second Portrait

Three hours, 105 people photographed.
Last week I worked with the Columbia School of Journalism during their annual Social Media Weekend Conference.  The goal was to photograph as many attendees as possible in a three hour period.  Anyone who wanted their social networking portrait updated could stop by.  As with most photo projects, I’m always attracted by array of very interesting people I meet – young, old, rich, poor, people there to learn, people there to teach.  It’s never a dull moment.  Below are some of the “characters” I met.  It’s amazing what you can capture in a session that averages 45 seconds.  Had a Fantastic time meeting everyone!

Social Portraits

A few weekends ago I did some pro bono work with Columbia University’s School of Journalism for their Social Media Conference.  Conferences always attract an array of very interesting people – young, old, rich, poor, people there to learn, people there to teach.  It’s never a dull moment.  Here are some of the “characters” I met.  It’s amazing what you can capture in a session that averaged about 45 seconds.  Had a Fantastic time meeting everyone!  Shown below in the order they were photographed.
