A few weeks ago I did some pro bono work for I Had Cancer, a foundation whose mission is to help people deal more effectively with life before, during and after cancer. What’s so fantastic about the foundation is that they connect cancer survivors, fighters and those newly diagnosed and their supporters, the friends & families of those affected with one another so they can share their stories and experience of dealing with the deadly disease.
This has all been possible by their founder Mailet Lopez (a cancer survivor) and the team at Squeaky Wheel Media. I met a lot of wonderful people with very, very inspiring stories.
